Before contacting support

Include your platform, operating-system version, Cam Radar version, camera or recorder model, and the exact error text. Never send a camera password, Google/Apple password, private stream URL or an unredacted screenshot containing credentials.

Common questions

Why is my ONVIF camera not discovered?

Confirm that the phone, tablet or TV is on the same local network as the camera, local-network access is allowed, ONVIF is enabled in the camera settings and client isolation is disabled on the Wi-Fi network. Discovery uses local multicast traffic, which some guest networks block.

Can I add a camera manually?

Yes. Use the manual-add option and enter the camera's ONVIF device URL or RTSP stream URL plus the camera credentials. Consult the camera manufacturer for the correct URL format.

Why is the stream unavailable or delayed?

Check camera power, network quality, credentials and codec settings. High-resolution feeds can exceed device or Wi-Fi capacity. Try the camera's lower-resolution substream when available.

Does Cam Radar upload my video?

No. Cam Radar does not operate a cloud video relay. Streams are requested from the camera or stream address you configure. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do I delete my account?

Use the instructions on the Account and Data Deletion page. Removing the app alone does not necessarily delete the Firebase account.
